Our story begins in the late 1800s in the diamond fields of Kimberley, South Africa, where our grandmother was raised during the earliest days of the diamond trade. In 1906, she immigrated to the United States, carrying with her a legacy rooted in craftsmanship, resilience, and respect for fine jewelry.
That legacy took form in 1972 with the founding of English Associates, a family-owned jewelry firm with decades of experience built on integrity and enduring relationships. From New York City’s financial district to Dallas, our journey has been shaped by a deep understanding of fine jewelry at every level.
Jeff English’s career was shaped through his work with Cartier Fine Jewelry, where he served as wholesale showroom manager in New York City under the mentorship of Ralph Destino. His role later expanded across the Southeast, representing Cartier in five states and working with the region’s most respected jewelers.

Jeff and Dolores later joined Citra Trading Inc., one of the largest importers of Italian gold jewelry in the United States and a leading global dealer of diamonds and pearls. This experience refined their expertise in sourcing, design, and global trade.
Today, Jeff and Dolores English personally oversee the design, import, and manufacture of fine diamond and precious gemstone jewelry. They travel regularly to central China, selecting exceptional pearls directly from farmers and transforming them into distinctive, finely crafted pieces.
We work exclusively with the finest metals, diamonds, and gemstones—each chosen for superior color, cut, and beauty. Alongside our custom designs, we curate a refined collection of antique and estate jewelry, honoring timeless craftsmanship and enduring elegance.
